Word Up Won Out

Early this morning, a listener called in to partake in the Word Up contest. One, it was still far too early to call - around 6:30 a.m. or so and we had never even made any announcement or gave the cue to call - and two, he wanted to give his answer on who he thought said the word "blog". Wait a minute. What?! "Blog"??? It's been WON already!!! All RM18,400 of it! 

 

The answer was Wang Lee Hom. (He's so damn cute, isn't he?)

Vivien was our third caller through and I can tell you, when she told us who she thought it was, JD & I were floored. We couldn't believe that somebody had finally figured it out! And we were both just telling each other that somebody needs to win the money because it was increasing to a very scary amount and finally, somebody did.

In fact, as of yesterday, we aired a brand new Word Up clip of somebody saying "Wrong". And as I type this right now, the money bucket now stands at RM300. Which, after giving away over RM18k, really can't compare, can it? 

In case you're new to this game, we play an audio clip of the mystery celebrity and you have to call us at 03-4043 1049 and be one of the first three callers to get through and tell us who you think it is. If the answer is wrong, the money snowballs to another RM100 the next day. And you can check out the answers that have been given on the Word Up page.

So our diabolical plan is to have you give us a ridiculous answer just to help snowball the money! MUAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!!
