Normally, I like to be the one to make women feel good and look good through the magic of make-up, but this time around, I got a makeover treat of my own thanks to Her World magazine!
So earlier this week, I drove up to the BluInc office in PJ to meet up with Beauty Writer, Michelle and the lovely lady who made this possible for me, Aneesa, sub-editor of Her World - and both are Red FM listeners! Yay! :)

Vinz, Senior Make-up Artist / Trainer of The Body Shop was there to do my makeup and according to Michelle, I'd be given a "Dita Von Teese" inspired look with strong lipcolour. Oohlalaa!!!
First and foremost, Vinz took off the makeup that I already had on with the Vitamin E Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes and removed my eye makeup with Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, a personal favourite of mine as it IS gentle on the eyes and the makeup comes off easily and leaves my eyes moisturised.
Then he followed up with the Flawless Skin Protecting Foundation SPF25 which did indeed give me a smooth, flawless look and then set it with some Loose Face Powder.
After which he worked on my eyes, shading my eyelids with pink Eye Colour and then lining the top with the Eye Definer in black. Then he expertly attached fake lashes on to my eyes...
Using the Brow Definer in Dark Brown, he filled in and shaped my eyebrows...
He then curled my lashes and coated them with the Define and Lengthen Mascara...
He lined my eyes to make it even more dramatic with black Liquid Liner and then dabbed a darker shade of shadow on top to slightly soften the look.
He brushed my cheeks with Cheek Colour to give them a rosy glow... and to set the make-up whilst giving my skin a little moisture, he spritzed my face with the Vitamin E Face Mist.
Ok face done. Next, hair!
Flora the hair stylist blow-dried my hair straight and then ironed it till the ends curved inwards like so...
After a few different outfits, Michelle picked out the one she felt would suit me for the shoot.. a beautiful, white, floaty number from Gina Collection, Bangsar Shopping Centre.
Once I was safely in the dress, Vinz applied a flirty purplish-pink shade of Lip Colour...
